  1. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, you gave me something to listen to while I sat with my grandson as he watched a CHIPMUNK DVD. It is not that I do not like watching DVDs with my grandson, but the same movie 100 times is NOT FUN.

Our quilt show is very small. We put chairs on top of tables and drape the quilts over the chairs. Cheap but we are more of a sewing group than a guild. We do not have fancy hangers and have not found a source where we can rent or borrow. YOU kind of have to go with what you can afford. Our little quilt show usually has 150 quilts. It is a local show. Very homey. No vendors but he quilt shop down the street makes a killing.

ALWAYS get extra batteries and a new memory card to any quilt show you go to…. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

I took a sabbatical from attending quilt shows this year. I found that when it his HIGH QUILT SEASON, I do not do any quilting myself. I attend on Saturday… do a grocery run then on Sunday it is family day and I get little or now sewing done. Since I am taking the sabbatical I have sewed so much more. I have completed 3 quilt tops in the same time I usually never finished on.

THANKS AGAIN FOR THE BREAK FROM DVD.

  2. YOUR PODCAST are fine, but sometimes it has more how it is listed on iTunes. I now classify my podcast as QUILTING in the genera and it seems to pop up more when others download.

I also revamped my blog sites to make commenting easier and it seems to work…. check your word press setting. I have not problems because I have a word-press account which I open when I comment on a word-press blog. That allows better posting on some blogs. Apparently Word-Press is upgrading some of the services and things are changing. I wish I was more tech savvy as I can barely get the formatting to work.

    Have a happy quilting weekend.

  3. Darla,
Thanks for the great podcast! (The Hoffman Challenge is international, by the way.) I don’t listen on iTunes, so don’t comment there, but always listen. Thanks, also for “liking” my facebook page- really appreciate the support! Of course, you are listed there as a “favorite”.

  4. Another great podcast episode! Thanks for sharing your experience at the quilt shows. I can live vicariously through you until I can one day attend one myself! šŸ™‚ Great pics too!
